Four of my works are being exhibited at *Le Salon International du Pastel* in France (organized by Pastel en Périgord) from July 25 to August 23. I hope you have the opportunity to view them. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Philippe Caillat, CEO of Pastel en Périgord, and to Ms. Sylvie Chatelain, who recommended me for this exhibition.
Update: At the opening ceremony on July 25, my work was selected for the 1st Place Prize. I am very delighted to have received a 102-color soft pastel set from Pastels Grault. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Ms. Karine Loiseau, the company’s president.
7月25日より８月23日まで、フランスのサン＝トライユで開催されている『国際パステルサロン』に私の作品が４点展示されます。ご覧いただければ幸いです。主催するPastel en PérigordのCEO、Philippe Caillat氏、並びに私を推挙してくださったSylvie Chatelain氏に深く感謝申し上げます。

The Degas Pastel Society’s 21st International Exhibition is taking place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from June 30th through August 3rd. Two of my paintings are on display; if you are in the area, I hope you will take the opportunity to view the exhibition. As an overseas entrant, I am unable to see the event in person, but I would like to express my gratitude to the juror, Aline Ordman, for selecting my work. Degas Pastel Society has accepted me as a signature member. Edgar Degas was a great painter and contributed by expanding the possibilities of pastels, used for sketches and drawings, as a medium with the same potential as oil painting. The Degas Pastel Society is a pastel society formed to honor his achievements. It is a great honor for me to join this society.
